Bio :: Alan Goff

Alan Goff is a multi-gifted, award winning speaker, trainer and author. He is the founder of Achieving Goals Incorporated, Advance Global Consulting and The Global Achievement Group.

Alan holds a degree in computer engineering, and since age 17 has held employment in supervision and managerial positions in various service sector industries. In 1996, he founded a non-destructive testing and inspection company serving the petroleum industry in western Canada. Under Alan's direction the company grew from eight employees to twenty-seven employees, increased services from one major service to eleven different services, moved from a 1,000 square foot rented shop to their own 6,000 square foot building and increased annual based revenues 150% to over 2.2 million dollars while paying off a half-million dollar debt all within a twelve week period of time. Alan has a track record of achieving big goals fast.

Alan was recognized and awarded for outstanding leadership and achievement in the non-destructive testing industry in 2005 & 2006 by the Metropolitan Executive and Professional Registry. Alan then sold his company, and since 2005, has pursued his authentic passion, which is communicating ideas and concepts with people to help them realize their natural gifts, talents, and abilities and operate at their full potential with passion on purpose.

Alan's experience in professional speaking, seminar training, and coaching coupled with his natural gifting as an enthusiastic motivator, visionary and catalyst, enabled him to accept the highest award for achievement in Dale Carnegie Training. He holds certification as a program trainer for Crown Financial Ministries Canada, LifeSuccess Consulting and Bob Proctor Seminars.

In 2007, Alan competed against more than 175,000 contestants in over 70 countries for the title of 'World Champion of Public Speaking' finishing in the top forty-eight in the world semi-finals.

To date Alan's speaking; training and coaching services has taken him throughout Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. He has been featured on the CBS Network program 'Leading Experts' and interviewed on numerous radio and internet broadcast stations.
